Tegfan is a cosy two bedroom 16th century timber-framed cottage in the heart of Dedham village with a wealth of exposed beams and period features. The historic village of Dedham lies on the Essex-Suffolk border surrounded by miles of unspoiled countryside. Downstairs there is a spacious and relaxing living room featuring a decorative fireplace and comfortable sofa, high speed broadband, Apple TV with Netflix and a library of books for your entertainment. The dining area features a table for four with optional high chair, available on request. There is a utility area with washer/dryer and WC next to the dining area.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms - a master bedroom with brand new comfortable queen-size bed, second living room that we like to call a snug with sofabed (sleeps 1 available on request) and writing desk, main bathroom with deep bath and rain shower; second single bedroom with ensuite WC featuring views of our private patio, quiet lane and trees. While we recommend our cottage for couples or young families, we can accommodate up to 4 adults, based on 2 sharing master bedroom, 1 in second bedroom and 1 on sofabed in upstairs snug which is adjacent to and sharing bathroom with master bedroom. There is an additional WC on the ground floor. Our galley kitchen has plenty of natural light with windows all the way along overlooking a private enclosed patio with al fresco dining and electric barbecue. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (charges apply).
