A picturesque barn conversion set close to the owner's 17th century farmhouse and 220 acre arable farm. Sleeping up to 6 people, the stone-built farm cottage is one of five on a private site and is ideal for a family or group of friends seeking a quiet, rural oasis.

The cottage maintains many of its original features, with stunning wooden beams in the open-plan kitchen and living room. Comfortable sofas surround a warming woodburner and a mounted flat-screen TV, perfect for watching a movie after a day exploring the local area. Two spacious and simply designed double-bedrooms allow plenty of light into them through the double glazed windows and a further twin-room is also provided. Each room has a gorgeous en-suite and a biomass underfloor heating system runs throughout the property, adding a luxurious touch.

A real treat for this property is the private hot tub, based on the outdoor patio, makes for a lovely space to enjoy a glass of wine on a summer's night. For those with young children, a large play barn is on-site with a toddler's play pit, table football table and air hockey. There is off-road parking for up to 3 cars.

The quaint village of Alderbury is the destination for this delightful cottage, with the family-friendly pub a mere 10 minute walk from the site. The gorgeous Tudor town of Shrewsbury is only 9 miles away and has many sophisticated bars and shops. The National Park's grand country house at Attingham Park is a great place to visit and is available to the public all year round. Wroxeter's Roman City is just a 15 minutes' drive away, where you can take a tour of the excavated site. Further afield, one could head to Ludlow for a culinary treat at the Michelin Star restaurant.
