Get away from the crowds and out onto the open water by hiring a day boat in Beccles just a 35 minute drive away from Oaklands Explore the beautiful upper Waveney River on the South Broads – one of the most tranquil and picturesque areas of the Broads. Beccles to Oulton Broad is comfortably achieved in a day’s cruise with time to lunch and shop. Or turn south out of the marina and leisurely cruise upstream to Geldeston village with the Wherry pub or the famous Lock’s Inn – just an hour’s trip away. The beauty of hiring a boat on the broads in Beccles is freedom.
