A stylish 1800s Grade II listed country house, 5 miles from the historic city of Worcester, perfect for a special family occasion or a large group of friends. Sleeping up to 16 people, the building features its original clock tower, adding to its characterful charm.
Inside, the opening hallway is a masterpiece, with its prominent oak staircase and lookalike chandelier. The property exudes quality with its sublime drawing room, complete with open fire and stunning picture window, which brightens the room with light. The large dining room offers seating for all guests, ideal for a special celebratory banquet. There is a well-fitted kitchen with a small dining and sitting area, a spacious games room with table tennis table and 6 bedrooms; 3 doubles, 2 family rooms (one with en-suite) and 1 twin.
Opening the doors of the games room leads you onto a large patio area with garden furniture and gas BBQ, pristine bushes and a clean heated swimming pool. One can also wander the wooded grounds with a fresh cup of coffee in the mornings.
Set in a location amongst the dotted village of Norton, which boasts a charming village pub and several popular walkways such as Severn Way. Worcester, and its ancient Cathedral, is easily accessible from the country house. A real treat, especially for those who cherish incredible views, is the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at Malvern Hills, a 9 mile range that offers public footpaths and bridleways in abundance. Malvern, on the Eastern side, is a picturesque Bronze Age settlement, with plenty of quirky shops and warming pubs.
