Arvagh, also referred as Arva, is a beautiful town in the county named Cavan in Ireland. The town is picturesquely placed on the shores of Garty Lough. The town is located in the centre of the drumlin belt. Arvagh is surrounded with hill of Bruse and located at the mid point of the drumlin belt. The town is situated at the point where three Ulster, Leinster and Connacht provinces, confluence. The town is bordered with counties called Longford and Leitrim. The town has several attractions, which include Arvagh Market House, an ancient two storey building made by Earl of Gosford in 1837 and Bruse Hill. Arvagh Market House is believed to be constructed by W D Butler. The outer six bays are altered with time and it seems like a two three-bay houses. The hill of Bruse is small in size and topped with three stone cairns belonging to Neolithic period.
