Find a holiday cottage in or close to Eynsham for your Oxfordshire holiday. Eynsham is a small market town of faded glories with a 14th century cross and arcaded hall in the village square, just south of the A40 in between Witney and Oxford. In days gone by the village was made prosperous by the river crossing at the site where the beautiful bridge, built in 1777, now stands at Swinford. In the middle ages an Abbey was built and it is said that Eynsham was bigger than Oxford in the days before the University. There are numerous shops and pubs in the village for all your self catering needs and the village hosts a carnival on the first Saturday in July each year.
