Kirtlington is a small Cotswold village situated about 10 miles North of Oxford on the B4095 road between Woodstock and Bicester. Many English villages have a ‘Big House’ close by, Kirtlington is no exception with Kirtlington Park, home to the Kirtlington Park Polo Club which holds weekly matches during the summer season. World class players can be seen in action, visitors and spectators are made very welcome. Kirtlington has a Post office and General Store, for those self catering essentials and a pub, the Oxford Arms, and also the excellent Dashwood Arms Hotel, should you decide to take a break from cooking and eat out.
