A few days on the Kent coast is a welcome break

Escaping to an entirely different place on the Kent coast with loved ones to enjoy a home away from home is a brilliant way to spend a holiday. In your self-catering accommodation, you can cook your favourite meals to enjoy on the decking of your private garden overlooking the rolling fields, and you can relax in your king size bed to get a brilliant night’s sleep, ready to explore your new location by the sea.

Look for a cottage or apartment to rent in Hythe

If you want to stay by the sea in a charming town when on holiday, then the coastal town of Hythe in Kent is a great choice. This market town features a farmers’ market a couple of times a month, a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, a country park and of course, a lovely beach to enjoy. If you are visiting with children, they will love being is such close proximity to the sea, and you can go for daily visits or choose accommodation right on the sea front, for something extra special.

Safe accommodation for children

Inside your cottage, you might choose a single storey property which is great for if you’re travelling with smaller children and toddlers. These accommodations might also come with highchairs in the dining rooms and bunkbeds in one of the bedrooms, plus swings and sandpits in the garden. You can relax knowing your children are catered for and have lots to keep them occupied when you’re not out exploring Hythe and the surrounding areas, which will make your break all the more satisfying.

Romantic breaks in Hythe perhaps?

You might be visiting Hythe with your partner on a romantic break by the sea. If so, think about choosing a cottage with a feature where you can truly kick back and pamper yourselves. One popular amenity is a hot tub, and you can choose to rent one of these in the garden of your property. At the end of the day discovering this part of Kent, you can slip into the bubbles with a glass of fizz and reflect on your day, soaking up your new surroundings.

Hythe is a pretty town by the sea with a shingle beach. Most holidaymakers take a stroll along the seafront during their visit.  It is possible to walk the length of the beach along Princess Parade all the way to Sandgate and Folkestone.  Another pleasant place to walk in Hythe is through gardens that border the Royal Military Canal. The town is backed by the beautiful acres of the Kent Downs where you can enjoy coastal walks, strolls through the country park or even a spot of horse riding.  Any dog owner would now be thinking about taking their pet on holiday with them to Hythe, which is possible as long as you book dog-friendly accommodation.

If renting accommodation here you won’t be stuck for things to do as the beach will be on your doorstep, but if you just want to relax and enjoy your cottage, you can do so easily here for a break to remember.
