Duloch is an ancient hamlet situated 1 mile from the burgh of Inverkeithing, near the City of Edinburgh in central Scotland. It used to be part of a farm estate with four dwellings: our two cottages, another one 500 meters down the road, and a farmhouse 500 meters up the road.

Historic Setting and Royal Connections

Being off the B981, also known as the Old North Road, Duloch has a rich history. This road has seen royalty on their way to the Balmoral estate. We even got a wave from Prince Philip when we watched the Royal car pass by in 1975.

Self-Catering Cottage Stays in Duloch

Our cottages were crafted from the sandstone of the nearby quarry, which you can see in our woodland, starting just beyond the back garden. The location is steeped in history, with remnants of an old waterwheel in the stream that add to the bucolic charm of the area.
