The cottage benefits from a fully equipped Kitchen, a cosy shower room with a double walk in shower, Cosy lounge with Log burner, Settee, "Smart" TV ,DVD Player, Dining Table and Chairs, Bedroom hosts a Double bed.

Set next to unspoilt countryside, in the sleepy hamlet of Wardhall, just 1 mile from Gilcrux. There is NO public transport, so your own transport is essential.

The wonderful Solway Coast is 4 miles away featuring long sand dunes and large beaches for your pet to run on and for you to enjoy.

The Lake District National Park starts 10 miles away from our location, with the neares Lake Bassenthwaite, on the A66 Towards the tourest town of Keswick.

The Market town of Cockermouth is 7 Miles from us, boasting local produce shops and lots of quaint eateries . There are lots of shops to explore from the Gift shops to the well known brands. Wordsworth House, the childhood home of William Wordsworth, is open to visit and is ran by the National trust, including displays and artifacts.
