Inside, the cosy living room has a comfortable sofa and corner woodburning stove perfect for a relaxing evening in watching a movie. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and there is also a small dining table. There is a warm double bedroom, which has a clean en-suite.
The real draw of this property is the picturesque location, with its attractive wrap-around garden. There are wonderful views of the rolling Derbyshire countryside, which you can enjoy from one of the benches. There is also a small patio to the front.
With many quintessentially English villages in the area, Kirk Ireton is one of the most ancient dating back to the Bronze Age. With quality sandstone buildings, the lovely Barley Mow Inn pub and historic Norman church, it is a lovely place to slowly wander around. One may want to head to Wirksworth, which boasts the fascinating National Stone Centre and is close to the Carsington Water and High Peak Trail. Adventure lovers can enjoy rock climbing and cycling here, as well as walking on the well-trodden footpaths.
