Stonebank Annexe is attached to our Grade II listed home, which dates from the early 17th century. Situated in a quiet location near the centre of the village of Chickerell, it is set back from the road in pleasant gardens. It has two bedrooms, one twin and one double, a comfortable lounge/dining room with an electric fire, Freesat colour T.V./DVD, radio, cd player with 1Pod dock, WiFi available and a choice of books and games. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine and microwave. There is a patio with garden furniture and enclosed garden with parking next to the property. All gas central heating, power, linen & towels included. Stonebank is three miles west of Weymouth, Dorset, close to the world heritage Jurassic coast, 8 miles from the county town of Dorchester and near West Bay, the home of the TV program Broadchurch. This is a no smoking property. One small pet welcome. Open all year with short breaks available through the winter months.

As it hosted the sailing Olympics in 2012 the sailing academy is very active and interestingly only a short stroll from King Henry VIII Portland castle. The pretty village of Abbotsbury is 6 miles to the west with its famous Swannery and sub-tropical gardens, the coastal towns of Lyme Regis, Swanage & many attractive villages are within easy reach by car or the X53 bus which travels the coast road. The county town of Dorchester is 8 miles north with interesting museums and historical sites. The larger towns of Bournemouth, Exeter, Salisbury & Bath are all worth a visit.
