Super 2 bedroom coastal chalet in seaside village of Eype in Dorset

Set in a village with stunning coastal scenery close by, this chalet invites a family or group of four to explore the Jurassic Coast. Wander the coastal path for unforgettable views. For beach lovers, the Eype pebble beach is very close and West Bay sandy beach is a little further. Don't know the differences between ammonites and a plesiosaur? Visit Bridport Museum and you will. The children will love this small museum, and look in amazement at its collection of fossils, all found locally.

But what about the chalet you ask. Let's say from the beginning there is nothing old about Beside the Sea. Inside there is a splendid, attractively decorated, light flooded, open plan living area with a spacious feel about it. Rustle up a tasty meal in the corner, fully equipped, kitchen and serve at the smart dining table with matching 4 chairs. On warm nights eat outside on the fenced patio, and enjoy the rural location. No need to draw straws for the dishes, while you sip that after dinner drink, the dishwasher will get to work.

After an action-packed day, head to the spacious bathroom to rinse off the sand and dust in the walk-in-shower. The choice is then to stay in, or maybe enjoy dinner at the local hotel, which tempts with local ales.

On your return, complete your relaxing evening by settling yourselves on one of the two comfy soft grey sofas for a spot of TV. If you are ready to turn-in for the night then you are in for a treat; there are two spacious, stylish bedrooms comprising of a master bedroom with a super-king size bed (zip/link beds so can be arranged as a twin on request) and one double bedroom.

A washing machine and a clothes airer can be found in the utility room, so no need to lug a suitcase of dirty washing home.
