Bakers Mill Farm is a 17th century working farm situated in the beautiful, tranquil Axe valley, surrounded by the rolling hills and picturesque villages of West Dorset, perfect for a relaxing retreat. Warm, cosy, very well equipped and clean, quiet, excellent beds, perfect for the dogs, exceeded expectations, great games room, excellent value for money - these are some of the comments we receive time and again in our visitor books. Our visitors return frequently and some come several times in a year. A games room and coarse fishing lakes where you can also picnic and gaze at the views enhance this cottage experience. Mid week breaks are available anytime in our cottages sleeping 2/3 and in Threshers Barn and Harvest Cottage anytime other than summer school holidays. Flexible start and departure days. The Grade II listed stone barn, wheelchair accessible Harvest Cottage and 4 terraced cottages are all very well equipped and have a distinctive cottage feel in their courtyard setting with games room with wireless broadband and laundry. Our barn sleeps 6, Harvest Cottage sleeps 4 plus 2 on sofa bed and the cottages sleep 2/3. Cots available. Dogs welcome. Its doggy heaven! We are suitable for large groups having exclusive use of our cottages and entertaining in the Games room, or courtyard in the summer months and can accommodate up to 21 people. If you are thinking of getting a large party together for Christmas or New Year we would strongly advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
