Recommended Attractions near Dunsby: Grimsthorpe Castle is just 7 miles away. It's really a fortified manor house, but has formal gardens with a tea room, an adventure playground plus thousands of acres of park and woodland with marked trails for walks and cycling. Other stately homes in the area are Burghley House at Stamford and Belton House at Grantham. Grantham is famous for its connections with Isaac Newton, and his birthplace at nearby Woolsthorpe is now a very interesting museum and activity centre. Visit Easton Walled Gardens or Barnsdale Gardens. Lincoln and Peterborough both have magnificent mediaeval cathedrals, and Lincoln also has its famous castle and prison. Water and jetskiing and windsurfing available nearby at both Tallington Lakes and Rutland water. Birdwatching at Rutland water (ospreys) and Fineshade woods (red kites). Or stay nearer home and spend a luxurious day at the Grange Spa, just 10 minutes away
Good places to visit near Dunsby: Hunstanton and the North Norfolk coast can be reached in under 2 hours, while Skegness and the Lincolnshire coast is a little nearer. Lincoln is about an hour away and has the cathedral and castle and the famous "Steep Hill". Boston is a historic port with working windmill and famous church (the Stump) and you can take birdwatching cruises on the Wash. The Lincolnshire Wolds are worth a visit and the main Wolds towns of Horncastle (with many antique shops) and Louth are both very interesting. Cambridge is also within easy reach, with its famous colleges and shops.More about the Location:

Good places to eat near Dunsby: Many good local pubs, for example The Ship at Pointon (6 miles), and The Fortesque Arms at Billingborough (8 miles). Indian, Chinese and Italian Restaurants in Bourne, plus the Angel Hotel. Our local pub is The Hare and Hounds at Hacconby (4 miles) with very friendly people, large portions, and folk nights twice a month!
