Choose from our spacious 2 bedroom Cart Lodge for families or friends, or stay at one of our relaxing and homely 1 bedroom retreats, Little Bengate Barn, perfect for a romantic weekend, or celebration or Courtyard Barn, a perfect base to explore from , or just to relax in.
Bengate Barn Cottages enjoy a superb location for exploring some of the best that Norfolk has to offer on a self-catering holiday. You can be at the scenic Norfolk Broads within a 15 minute drive, or head to the renowned Norfolk coast instead (a similar distance away). Or for history, culture, shopping and more, head in to Norwich, just 15 miles away.
Closer to the barns, there is plenty to see and do too. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, this is a great location, as just a short walk away is the Weaver's Way cycling and walking route (which stretches for some 61 miles taking you through countryside, historic buildings, farmland and coastline, from Cromer to Great Yarmouth). Also not too far away is the Norfolk Coast Path which runs from Hunstanton in the west to Cromer in the east and through Norfolk’s heritage coast within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).Bacton Woods is also not far, perfect for a ramble, as well as Peddar's Way, Nar Valley and many routes around the Norfolk Broads, perfect for birdwatching, as well as the popular cycle route of Marriott's Way. We also have plenty of space in our parking area should you have a canoe so that you can paddle at leisure along the broads, or even parts of the Dilham-North Walsham Canal.
