Coarse fishing is available at Walcot Lakes in the village, and no less than three National long-distance footpaths - The Shropshire Way, Offa's Dyke Path and the Jack Mytton Way - are all quickly accessible. The Forge's owners, are experienced walkers, and can usually offer pick-up/drop-off transport, guided walks, as well as local knowledge of the best places to explore. All on ground floor.
