Situated in the village of Lydbury North, just a short drive from historic Bishop’s Castle, this charming detached cottage is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the nearby Welsh Marches. Surrounded by spectacular countryside, it provides superior self-catering accommodation for lovers of the great outdoors, offering opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking and bird watching - look out for the rare red kites. Coarse fishing is available at Walcot Lakes in the village, and no less than three National long-distance footpaths - The Shropshire Way, Offa's Dyke Path and the Jack Mytton Way - are all quickly accessible. The Forge's owners, are experienced walkers, and can usually offer pick-up/drop-off transport, guided walks, as well as local knowledge of the best places to explore. All on ground floor. One bedroom with king size bed, en-suite washbasin and WC. Sitting room has large sofa bed sleeping two. Rear room has put-you-up bed, ideal for a child. Bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with exposed beams and Clearview wood burner (wood supplied).
