Blagdon Cottage is an ideal location for your next holiday, ideal for groups of up to 8 people who want to explore all the delights that the countryside has to offer, from stunning panoramic views to deer and pony sightings. Situated in the charming village of Wheddon Cross, you’ll be high above the countryside, where from the Dunkery Beacon you can gaze out at the open moorland or the Bristol Channel, stunning all year round. If you’re visiting in February, don’t forget to give the famed Snowdrop Valley a visit, where the ground is covered in a layer of beautiful snowdrops. There are endless examples of nature to explore, with multiple walks around sheltered valleys or open land to enjoy. Of course, if you fancy a trip to town, Minehead is only 9 miles away, and offers everything from supermarkets to high street shops.

Inside your cottage, there’s everything you could need, from the beautifully designed sitting area where you can curl up in front of the cosy woodburner to the wooden dining table perfect to enjoy a homemade lunch. The kitchen is well equipped, so you’ll have no problem preparing family favourites around the oil fired rayburn and all other essential equipment. If it’s warm, then the conservatory offers another ideal place to sit, where you can enjoy the garden views and a skyline of trees, all from the comfy furniture arranged inside. There are plenty of outside areas – an enclosed garden and paddock, great for walks with dogs (up to two are welcome!) and a gravelled patio to test out the BBQ. In the evening, retire to one of the four bedrooms, sleeping eight guests across two king-sized double bed rooms, a double bed room and a twin room, idea for any arrangement. Whatever you’re looking for, Blagdon Cottage will be a memorable stay!
