Llanrwst is a beautiful small town and community located picturesquely on the River Conwy in Conwy County Borough of Wales. The name of the town was derived from the 5th century to 6th century church of Saint Grwst. The town of Llanrwst is located at a distance of 21 km from Conwy. The town is surrounded with beautiful locations and sites, which comprises river sides, long stretched landscapes and lush green vegetation. Owing to its exotic natural beauty and pleasant environment all round the year, tourists come here from all over the places for spending self catering holidays.
The main attraction of this town is three-arch stone bridge, Pont Fawr, which was designed by Inigo Jones and built in by Sir John Wynn. Other attraction of the house includes Almshouses, which are ancient chapels belong to 17th century and the parish church, preserving the stone coffin of Llywelyn the Great. The house has Llanrwst local museum, which holds a collection of items related to rural Conwy valley and items of Llanrwst Bards of late nineteenth century. Tourists coming here can visit Gwydir forest and Moel Maelogan wind farm. Other than tourist attractions, the town is famous for self catering accommodations, which are available here in the form of holiday chalets, log cabins, apartments, villas, and cottages.
