Two 5 star gold and silver award holiday cottages, one 5 bedroom country cottage and a six bedroom cottage located in private countryside on the edge of the Peak District. These are not on the same site- and are 5 miles apart. This is a lovely central location for all attractions in the Peak District. Either large self catering cottage is a perfect venue for large groups, families, hen parties, birthdays, anniversaries. Corporate facilities include WiFi, projector and screen plus whiteboard. We are now hosting wedding receptions with two stunning venues at Offcote Grange. Suitable for Tipis, Yurts and Marquees. Pampering or meals available by arrangement. Secure paddocks for horses by arrangement. Garden with BBQ and seating. Hot tubs available and sauna at Bills Bothy Book a stay in one of our fabulous large houses that sleep up to 16 people each, Hillside Croft and Billy's Bothy are both gorgeous 5 star gold and silver award big and spacious country cottages offering good quality self catering cottage accommodation to the south of the Peak District. Both cottages are in peaceful rural surroundings set in ten acres of private gardens near Ashbourne. Specialising in large group holidays for family self catering breaks, birthdays and special celebrations such as birthday parties, anniversaries and hen parties. Billy's Bothy - sleeps 12 to 16 + 2 cots This lovely old cottage is built of handmade local red bricks with an abundance of pine beams and exposed brick walls throughout. The ground floor windows arch elegantly over former sty openings. This unusual self catering cottage has 2 ground floor double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom - all en-suite. Two more bedrooms on the first floor are double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and the other with an en suite bathroom. The total sleeping capacity is for 10 in actual full size beds. The lounge has a double quality bed settee, with private entrance to shared en-suite bathroom. There are also 2 single bed chairs within the bedrooms giving a sleeping capacity of 10+ 4 + 2 travel cots. An extra 6th ensuite bedroom can be hired which adjoins the cottage, giving sleeping for 16 if required. All rooms have LCD TV’s and Wi Fi. The cottage entrance is on the ground floor, in the centre of the cottage, elegant stairs leading up to a fabulous galleried kitchen.. The pine kitchen has granite worktops, it is extremely well equipped and a joy to use to prepare breakfast any other meals during your holiday. One of the advantages of a self catering holiday is having all the wine and nice things you would like to eat on holiday in the comfort of your holiday home. The spacious lounge with a woodburner is on the first floor and opens out through an impressive oak framed doorway onto a patio with a cottage garden and well stocked orchard. Chill out in the garden where leisure furniture is provided for your comfort and a barbecue is available for informal meals in the sunshine. There are four snug sofas in the lounge with enough seating for the entire group. Watch TV with Freeview or bring films on DVD or videos to watch, a VHS machine, DVD, and hi fi are also provided. Dine with family and friends around the large dining table in the dining room. A highchair is available for our younger guests. Hillside Croft – sleeps 14 to 16 + 2 cots Dating back to1709 this beautiful historic cottage is a delight with heavy oak beams, inglenook fireplaces, revealed stone and timber walls and pretty stone mullioned and leaded windows- a picture postcard cottage set within six 6 acres of garden and private pastureland. The cottage has 5 bedrooms with comfortable beds and handmade antique pine furniture. There are 4 double bedrooms, three of which also have single beds within them and 1 twin. One bedroom is ensuite and there is a fabulous contemporary, master bathroom which has a second shower and roll topped bath. The comfortable lounge and dining rooms are a delight with cosy log stoves set under feature fireplaces. Full of character this cottage has charm and history with all the modern comforts and facilities. The farmhouse style kitchen has handmade pine units with tiled and granite worktops and a double Belfast pottery sink. Beautiful gardens surround the cottage, with lots of land to meander around. Your horse can also be accommodated. These cottages do not accept pets and have never done so, so are ideal for those with allergies and also feature hypoallergenic pillows and quilts.
